Do not use:
* unless a diagnosis of asthma has been made by a doctor
* if you are now taking a prescription monoamine oxidase
inhibitor (MAOI) (certain drugs for depression, psychiatric,
or emotional conditions, or Parkinson's disease), or for
2 weeks after stopping the MAOI drug. If you do not know
if your prescription drug contains an MAOI, ask a doctor
or pharmacist before taking this product.
* in children under 12 years of age
Ask a doctor before use if you have:
* heart disease
* high blood pressure
* thyroid disease
* diabetes
* difficulty in urination due to enlargement of the prostate gland
* ever been hospitalized for asthma or if you are taking a prescription drug for asthma
* persistent or chronic cough such as occurs with smoking, asthma, chronic bronchitis,
or emphysema
* a cough which is accompanied by excessive phlegm (mucus)
When using this product you may experience nervousness, tremor, sleeplessness, nausea, and loss of appetite. If these symptoms persist or become worse, consult your doctor.
Stop use and ask a doctor if:
* symptoms are not relieved within 1 hour or become worse
* cough persists for more than 1 week, tends to recur,
or is accompanied by a fever, rash, or persistent
headache. These could be signs of a serious condition.
If pregnant or breast-feeding, ask a health professional before use.
Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, get medical help or contact a Poison Control Center right away.
